Spring is here, schools are over and I know your excitement to explore the world will be springing out of your body. Even I feel that spring is the best time to travel among any other season because it offers less of heat and cold while giving you more of greenery and pleasantness. Spring is the time when beautiful flowers blossom and true colors of nature is shown, making it an ideal season to plan and execute your vacation. Here we have brought you a list of best places where you can exit the chaos of the world, breathe slowly and wonder while wandering:-
1. Okanagan Valley, British Columbia
Located in the southwestern side of Canada, Okanagan is home to more than 200 wineries. But that’s not it, it has to offer you a lot of breath-taking views and plains that make you feel like you are having a trip to heaven. This beautiful valley is something that never lets any visitor down and always stays in their heart. You can roam here on your legs or use a mountain bike to ensure that you had soaked the nature enough into your body.
2. Laurentian Mountains
If you are not a lover of mountains, then you should definitely go here. Because I can guarantee that your taste will be changed by the end of the trip. These exquisite mountains are located on the southeastern side of Canada in the province of Quebec. But this is not just another place which offers beauty. It is kind-of next-level place which offers you AHHA and WOW moments each and every second. This is surely not something to be missed in life.
3. Toronto, Ontario
It is the largest city in Canada and needs no introduction to any Canadian. But it’s definitely something that has to be recommended to go this spring. It might not be nature-y but the chills in this city are no less. From museums to matches and from beers to beaches, it has like a never-ending list of go-to places. Niagra falls, a place where most people in the world dreams to go, is 128 km away and a 90-minute ride from this city.
Yellowknife is situated between north and mid of Canada in the province of Northwest Territories. Great (No, I mean really great) place. And offers you an unbeatable combination of nature, adventure and wonder. It is also called the city of northern lights. It is greenish dancing lights that can make any wanderer wonder and can be seen on the majority of days throughout the year. But it wouldn’t be fair if we judge this place only by this. Yellowknife is a plethora of many such places and should be a must-go destination in your list.
5. Acadian Peninsula, N.B.
This full-of-excitement destination is located in the southeastern side of Canada at the province of New Brunswick. This destination boasts a variety of finger licking dishes and once-more drinks. It’s a dream destination for food lovers, where you can not only eat but also learn how to make such mouth-watery Acadian dishes. This peninsula has its own share of rich history and culture which can be seen in the museums there. Now coming outside the walls, Acadian Peninsula is not lagging behind any place in the list when it comes to fun and adventure. You can pedal through this beautiful peninsula to catch some pure air, hard to find anywhere else or explore the beaches it has in its treasury.
Levis, situated in Quebec province, can be considered as an allrounder city, which offers a lot in little. From beautiful views to history to art to peace to waterfall, you name it and Levis has it. The point is, this place is suited for anyone and has something for everyone. One great thing I find about Levis is its charm, which has the power to calm a person having monkeys inside their brain.
7. Algonquin Provincial Park
Spread in an area of 7653 square KM, this gigantic park is located in the province of Ontario and I can say that no one can explore it enough because this never-ending woods has nature filled till its brim. It is like another world in itself and is a great place for explorers to explore. The beautiful lakes and tall trees make it a perfect place for hiking and camping. Just being there, feeling the air and nature touching you can spark your life.
8. Nokomis, SK
If you have the slightest liking for birds, and who doesn’t, then don’t give this place a second thought. An air force with a variety of regiments of migrating birds attacks the Last Mountain Regional Park, which is around 30 KM from Nokomis, during springtime. And of course, it has more to offer than birds. With air force covered, it also has the navy of fishes and army of terrestrial animals, which always soothe your eyes by watching them in their natural habitat.
